Have you ever watch a Shakespeare play ever? Do you want to know why
Shakespeare is considered as a legendary writer? All of your questions
will be answered in this movie that captures the magnificence of
Shakespeare's original play. Watching the movie is a magical experience
of the love story that is humorous and romantic at the same time.
Would you read/watch this material again? Why/why not?
I would totally watch this movie again because it is a movie that is
really different from the other movies that I used to watch. One of the
reasons is that it accurately uses the script from the original play so
the conversations are actually composed of old English from
Shakespeare's Era. Usually, the visuals from the movie are enough to
tell what is happening but with a better understanding of the old
English and the plot from a small research, watching the movie again
will definitely make me fully appreciate the movie. Another reason is
that this movie is a perfect medium to study English culture. As the movie almost perfectly contain the same settings as the original, it also means that the culture of the play will be inside the movie as well. There are many past English cultures present in the movie -the weddings, the funeral, and the party- that can tell its audience about the lifestyle of the English people during Shakespeare's era. By exposing fascinating culture to the audience, this can enrich their knowledge of the old English culture.
In a nutshell, Much Ado About Nothing is a one of a kind movie that is
largely based on Shakespeare's original play with the similar name. The
way the director Joss Whedon directs the movie with a slight change from
the original has captivated millions for its wonderful screenplay and a
blast from the past experience.
